eDrum MIDI Mapper: Advanced Hi-Hat Pad Options « Hi-Hat Pad Editor Window | Index | MIDI Utility Functions »

Pedal CC Closed Threshold
Allows hi-hat muting to occur before the pedal is fully depressed. This can result in more realistic transitions from full-open to semi-open samples, or to improve playability with hardware that may not always reach the maximum CC when gently depressing a pedal.
Foot Splash Time Threshold
A foot splash note is generated if the time between depressing the hi-hat pedal and releasing it is less than this value (in milliseconds). Quicker releases result in higher note velocities (i.e. louder splashes).
Foot Chic Scale
Attenuates the velocity of foot chic notes to allow a low-volume closed stick-hit sample to be used if a genuine foot chic sample isn't available. There is no attenuation when the slider is positioned to the far right.
Foot Splash Scale
Attenuates the velocity of foot splash notes to allow a low-volume open stick-hit sample to be used if a genuine foot splash sample isn't available. There is no attenuation when the slider is positioned to the far right.
Invert CC Pedal Values
Enabling this option reverses hi-hat pedal CC values (closed becomes open, and open becomes closed). Check this option if your hardware sends data in reverse to eDrum MIDI Mapper's default internal setting.
